Grow your career with a global retailer as a Specialist within our Data Analytics team at ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury. This is a full-time permanent position.

This pivotal role will see you immersing yourself in the captivating world of data at ALDI, a place where every number tells a story. As a part of our Data Analytics team, you'll be instrumental in using data-driven methods to transform vast amounts of raw data into valuable insights that guide our decision-making.

From machine learning to statistical modelling, you'll employ advanced techniques to dissect and understand complex data sets. And it's not just about analysis - it's about communication too. Through data visualisation, you'll transform intricate data into a form that's easily understandable, enabling informed decision-making across various sectors of our business.

What does the role look like? 

• Analysing raw data and identifying any outliers affecting product sales forecasts
• Investigate periods of peak demand and adjust forecasts accordingly
• Deliver on project initiatives and strict deadlines
• Liaise with multiple stakeholders to deliver accurate and highly critiqued sales forecasts

What do we need from you?

• 2+ years’ experience in forecasting/demand planning within an FMCG environment
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Demonstrated ability to apply analytical methods to supply chain challenges and objectives
• Reporting and analysis experience highly regarded
• Experience in SAP forecasting modules is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential
• Ability to adapt in a fast moving and agile environment
