Grow your career with a global retailer as a Buying Assistant within our Digital Services team at ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury. This is a full-time permanent position.

In this pivotal role, you will join a team that is at the heart of what makes ALDI unique: our products. As part of the Buying team, you will be involved in the journey of our products and services, from conception to our store shelves.

What does the role look like? 

• Provide administrative support to the team associated with programs and projects to ensure successful execution
• Assisting the Buying Director/Manager in end-to-end buying processes
• Ensure successful delivery of digital services into the Australian business
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to support a range of program deliverables
• Assist in problem solving and process issues for relevant digital service offerings
• Deliver on project initiatives and deadlines
• Actively plan and forecast stock
• Maintain confidential product and supplier records

What do we need from you?

• Demonstrated experience in a Buying Assistant (or similar) role
• Comprehensive administrative experience, project experience highly regarded
• Reporting and analysis experience highly regarded
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential
• Ability to adapt in a fast moving and agile environment
• Ability to learn new programs, systems, and processes
