Job Description

Take the next step in your career and join a leading global retailer! The National IT department of ALDI Stores Australia has an exciting new position available for an Analyst to join the Logistics Management team, based in Minchinbury NSW. This is a 12-month fixed term contract position.

Our National IT Logistics team are responsible for all warehousing and transportation application support. As part of the team, you will liaise with stakeholders across the National and Regional departments operating in Australia building strong relationships with peers across the business.  

What does the role look like?

  • Drive efficiency through continuous improvement in configuration and master data management for Transportation and Warehouse management applications
  • Provide support to other SAP work streams that are impacted by Transportation and Warehouse Management business processes
  • Establish and support best practices for SAP Transportation Management business processes in SAP S4
  • Collaborate and foster strong relationships with relevant stakeholders to understand evolving requirements
  • Identify and escalate any issues & risks, manage mitigations and drive resolution
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to plan and execute technical change in accordance with set standards, demands and practices
  • Provide training on business processes to internal stakeholders
  • This role involves travel as it is required by the project deliverables

Qualifications

What do we need from you?

  • Experience in a dedicated SAP TM role, investigating and resolving SAP TM production problems in a technical business environment
  • Solid experience in Master Data Management - notably Transportation Management in SAP with specific focus on TM Inbound and Outbound processes
  • A general knowledge and experience of SAP S/4 Hana, especially integration, workflow and FIORI.
  • Capable of debugging SAP programs to help find the root cause and resolution to various issues.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Able to work flexibly and comfortable attending MS teams video calls outside of standard business hours with our international business partners
  • Willingness to travel interstate as required

This role reports to the Executive Manager - National IT.

*Includes superannuation. Remuneration varies depending on location and experience.
