Job Description

As ALDI continues to grow, we recognise the importance of a robust financial strategy, and we are now seeking a talented Accountant to join the Finance team based in Minchinbury. This role is a 12-month fixed term opportunity.

Join a high performing and results driven team who focus on process, diligence, and accuracy as we undertake a global system transformation project. A key aspect of this role will see you responsible for ensuring our financial data is effectively migrated to our new systems. 

What does the role look like? 

  • Support with financial systems implementation, identifying process inefficiencies and implementing solutions for improvement.
  • Perform reconciliations and inventory analysis to support cutover and data migration activities. Depending on the phase of the project, this role may require you to work in different timezones
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist the wider team in fulfilling requirements for auditing and compliance.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with cross-functional teams to develop and analyse data needs.

Qualifications

What do we need from you?

  • Relevant qualifications in business, accounting or related fields.
  • CA/CPA accreditation or equivalent is highly regarded
  • Experience in coordinating and managing project deliverables within Finance
  • Excellent written, verbal, and relationship building skills with the ability to engage across different levels of management
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience in SAP S/4 Hana (FICO Module) highly desirable
