Join our Transport Management team as a Technician within the National Supply Chain Management department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury NSW.
As a Technician within our Transport Management team, you will be responsible for coordinating the efficient and successful movement of our transport vehicles across the nation. Your pursuit of efficiency, effectiveness, and product availability will ensure ALDI's products and services reach our customers in a timely and cost-effective manner.

What does the role look like?
- Support the Transportation Management team
- Utilise vehicle routing software ‘Route Planner’ and associated applications to carry out orders
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for effective planning and execution
- Ensure efficient flow of incoming and outgoing stakeholder correspondence and information
- Monitor and respond to any changes, issues, and queries
- Troubleshoot and resolve changes and/or problems to ensure smooth execution of transport plans
- Use initiative to control, manage and continually improve the quality and efficiency of work
- Present recommendations to relevant stakeholders
- Ensure the efficient processing of information/data and support across all job functions
What do we need from you?
- Demonstrated experience within Transport and Logistics operations
- Understanding of different vehicle types (i.e. B-doubles or rigid vehicles)
- Experience with the ‘Route Planner’ software and/or SAP highly regarded
- Ability to problem solve and present productive solutions
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Demonstrated experience in data and information analysis
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- Be available to work a 9-day fortnight roster and including rotating weekends.
