A unique and exciting opportunity exists to join the National Supply Chain department within ALDI Australia. The National Supply Chain department is responsible for the end-to-end Supply Chain including planning, execution and project activities.

As an Analyst, you will be assisting members of the National Supply Chain team and other stakeholders throughout the business in making data-driven decisions. You will be responsible for extracting value from supplier, freight, warehouse, retail and other data in order to identify business improvement opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a good communicator and an analytical thinker with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.

You will be responsible for: 

  • Collaborating with the IT team and data owners to ensure data accessibility and delivery
  • Control the quality of the utilised data
  • Developing processes and structure for automating data sourcing and reporting
  • Consolidating multiple data sources and analysing patterns, trends, anomalies and root causes
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement within the entire Supply Chain department and providing actionable insights for operational and strategic decisions
  • Visualising the data by creating meaningful reports and dashboards
  • Developing a benefit management toolkit and tracking savings

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in business, commercial or Supply Chain analytics
  • High level of computer literacy across multiple programs including Microsoft Office Suite and business intelligence and analytics tools
  • Advanced analytical skills, including capturing, processing and organising data to uncover actionable insights
  • Ability to plan, execute and prioritise across multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proven commercial and business acumen

The Analyst - National Supply Chain reports to the Executive Manager - National Supply Chain and communicates directly with assistants, Regional departments and external parties. The Analyst will work collaboratively with the entire team on a wide range of categories and projects.

*Salary includes superannuation. Remuneration varies depending on location and ALDI experience.
