Grow your career with a global retailer as an Analyst within our Data Analytics team at ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury. This is a full-time permanent position.

This pivotal role will see you immersing yourself in the captivating world of data at ALDI, a place where every number tells a story. As a part of our Data Analytics team, you'll be instrumental in using data-driven methods to transform vast amounts of raw data into valuable insights that guide our decision-making.

From machine learning to statistical modelling, you'll employ advanced techniques to dissect and understand complex data sets. And it's not just about analysis - it's about communication too. Through data visualisation, you'll transform intricate data into a form that's easily understandable, enabling informed decision-making across various sectors of our business.

What does the role look like? 

• Collaborate with NDA for tailored technical solutions, leveraging user stories and UX/UI principles. 

• Develop intuitive dashboards and apps for informed decision-making, following data visualisation best practices. 

• Manage diverse data sets ensuring accuracy and compliance with governance standards. 

• Create consistent branded experiences across platforms and channels. 

• Foster relationships with stakeholders, advocating for user-centric design. 

• Drive reporting initiatives, aligning with strategic objectives and soliciting feedback. 

• Transform unstructured data into actionable insights aligned with user expectations. 

• Implement innovative data solutions, staying ahead of industry trends. 

• Advocate for globally harmonised reporting.

What do we need from you?

• Extensive hands -on experience in report development roles, demonstrating proficiency in Tableau and Alteryx. 

• At least 2 years of experience in data-focused process improvement roles, with an emphasis on incorporating UX/UI design concepts. 

• Prior experience in dashboard modelling, report development, and project coordination,  

• Demonstrated expertise in data management and analytics methodologies 

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
