Job Description

Due to department growth a new opportunity has become available within our Financial Accounting team based in Minchinbury, NSW. This is a permanent full-time opportunity.

As the Team Leader you will oversee and manage a team of Financial Accountants to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the inventory costing function at ALDI Stores.

What does the role look like? 

  • Lead, guide and mentor a medium sized team specialising in Inventory costing adjustments in a large, complex ERP environment
  • Implement and maintain KPI dashboard on Inventory costing adjustments
  • Build relationships with various departments to champion optimal inventory costing outcomes
  • Ensure monthly and yearly deliverables are met in a timely and efficient manner
  • Reviewing current processes and using critical insights to identify improvement opportunities
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues and reach a common outcome

Qualifications

What do we need from you?

  • Minimum of 3 years’ demonstrated experience within a financial accounting environment (inventory costing (MAP) highly desirable)
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a leadership role
  • CA/CPA accreditation
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at various levels
  • A technical mindset with the ability to learn and work with various systems
  • Experience in SAP is highly desirable
